Building on the success of last year’s conference, Scalpel is pleased to announce Scalpel’s Undergraduate Surgical Conference 2010 (SUSC 2010) which will be taking place later this year after we return from the Summer break.
The aim of this will be to give students a fantastic opportunity to gain experince in presenting research, case reports of interest or audits to their peers and senior surgeons on a national level.
There will be the opportunity to deliver both oral and poster presentations, with prizes given for the best presentations as judged by a select panel of senior surgeons.
The conference will also benefit from keynote speeches by eminent surgeons.
The conference is open both to medical students who wish to present and those who simply wish to attend. There will be plenty to do throughout the day.
